Module Three

In our first session of the term for Module Three, we spent some time overviewing the module itself, expectations, outcomes and talked through something of the process that is the final module.

Do make time to read and re-read the Module Handbook for DAN4760 this week

I shared some reading too, really from the perspective of encouraging you to read the work of other artists sharing their research, as this is what you will be doing at the end of the module.

These were the articles we looked at for you to read in your own time as you feel:

Assaf, N., and Harrington, H. (2022). ‘(Re)positioning, (re)ordering, (re)connecting: A choreographic process of mind and body convergence’, Choreographic Practices, 13:1, pp. 25–52, https://doi.org/10.1386/chor_00040_1

Fraleigh, S. (2021). 'Body and nature: Quest for somatic values, East and West', Journal of Dance and Somatic Practices, Vol 13, Numbers 1-2, pp.113-123 https://doi.org/10.1386/jdsp_00040_1

Love to hear your thoughts...
